Additional Cover for Your Mobility Aids
How much you can claim up to
Some travel insurance policies have a single article limit for lost or damaged items, such as a limit of £200 on an AllClear Gold Plus policy, for example. However, when it comes to mobility aids the rules are different. On the same policy, you could claim up to £2,500 for your mobility aid. In addition, if your carer – who is insured on the same policy – has to cancel or cut short their trip due to an unforeseen emergency, you can do the same and also claim for lost expenses. Or, If you wish to continue your journey, we will pay up to £1,000 in total for the costs of extra accommodation and transport to replace your original carer; on AllClear Gold and Gold Plus. What’s more, depending on the policy you select, you can exclude Cancellation Cover, waive your excesses, or add Optional Extras to your policy. One Optional Extra that may be useful to you is Travelling Companions Cover, which means even if your carer or travelling companion are insured with an alternate provider, they can still be covered for Cancellation and Curtailment if anything happens in relation to your health. Our Commitment to Mobility Travel Insurance
