Frequently asked questions about cover
What if you currently have symptoms of coeliac disease?
We’re pleased to say we can still offer you a quote.
Just be sure to check with your doctor that you are fit to travel.
What if you're on a waiting list for treatment?
If you’re on a waiting list for treatment – such as surgery – be sure to answer so during the initial medical warranty questions.
Unlike some other providers, we give you the ability to include the optional extra of Waiting List cover.
What if you're only being investigated for coeliac disease?
While the true cause of your symptoms are unknown we are unfortunately unable to offer cover.
However, when your diagnosis is confirmed we’d be happy to offer you a quote.
What if you need to come home early?
All of our policies include repatriation to your Home Country.
Which means if any medical condition causes you to cut short your trip, you will be covered.
Do you need to declare other medical conditions which you have?
We offer fully comprehensive travel insurance for all of your medical conditions.
However, you’ll be glad to know you don’t have to tell us about every condition you’ve ever had!
Our medical warranty will tell you exactly which conditions we need to know about at the start of your quote. Or you can take a sneak peak here: Understanding the medical warranty.
Why we won’t ask questions about your coeliac disease
Coeliac disease is a medical condition we don’t ask questions about during the medical section of your quote.
Instead, simply entering the name ‘coeliac disease’ completes the declaration.
We recognise that coeliac disease is manageable, and whatever the circumstances of your condition, we’d be happy to offer you a quote.
