When Travelling to Sicily, do you still need Travel Insurance if you have a GHIC?

As a British citizen, you can apply for a Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) which will give you access to a certain level of care for a medical emergency when abroad in certain countries. To request a GHIC online, visit the official website. However, the GHIC does not cover all circumstances such as repatriation costs. For proper protection – you’ll still need comprehensive travel insurance too.
